Do you struggle to stay up past 10pm?
Are you asleep on the sofa after one glass of wine?
Are your dancing pumps covered in dust?
Is the dance floor just a distant memory?
If you have answered mostly YES to these questions then you need us!
We are offering you a night out to remember. This is the fifth Resurrection Indie Disco/ Rave and we are once again giving you the opportunity to dust off your pumps and dance the night away to your favourite 80’s, 90’s classic hits. Music you can dance to and believe me you won’t want to leave the dance floor when you have been Razzmatazzed by Jarvis, and Charmed by Morrissey. A melting pot of Brit Pop, Madchester and fine quality indie tunes punctuated with classic rave anthems.
At 1am when the lights come up you will be joining in the chant to the DJ, “One more, one more!” The next morning when your feet and head hurt and your lie in didn’t happen you will not care, you will be smiling as you chomp down on that bacon butty because you had the best night and that, ladies and gentlemen, is a Resurrection promise!!

We are delighted to be joined once again by the Houghton Weavers in December 2017!

Formed in 1975, The Houghton Weavers made their television debut in the BBC's talent show "We'll Call You". So successful were they that, within a couple of months they were given their own show "Sit Thi Deawn" which continued for six series over seven years and had the highest viewing figures for any regional T.V. programme.

As well as their own show the Weavers have appeared on many other national TV programmes for both BBC and ITV including "This Is Your Life" and "The Video Entertainers".

Six series on Radio 2 led the Weavers to appear with such notable artistes as Cannon & Ball, Ken Dodd, Rick Wakeman, Mike Harding, Billy Connolly, Phil Cool, Jasper Carrott, Norman Wisdom, Mick Miller and Stan Boardman amongst many others.

Come and join us for a night of great folk music and humour!

THE WEST YORKSHIRE PLAYHOUSE & RED LADDER PRODUCTION

Down the stairs…

Along the corridor…

Round the corner…

Into the dressing room…

HIS dressing room.

Hateful, hateful place
Spiteful, spiteful place.
Dirty, dirty Leeds.

1974. Brian Clough, the enfant terrible of British football, tries to redeem his career and reputation by winning the European Cup with his new team. Leeds United. The team he has openly despised for years, the team he hates and which hates him. Don Revie’s Leeds.

Adapted from David Peace’s brilliant and ingenious novel, The Damned United takes you inside the tortured mind of a genius slamming up against his limits, and brings to life the beauty and brutality of football, the working man’s ballet.
